Pelosi creates committee to deal with global warming
Speaker Nancy Pelosi created the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming on Thursday, a group she hopes will coordinate work among the eight committees with jurisdiction over the issue and U.S. energy policy and help come up with sweeping legislation by early summer.
