Well it's finally official. My personal pick would have been Sen. Russ Feingold if he would have stayed in the race, even though I admit he probably would not have done well. Feingold has proven throughout the decade that he is the real deal and one of the few Senators who is not afraid to take a stance.
Now Obama has a chance to show that he is like Feingold but it's way too early to tell. I think a Clinton/Obama ticket would be formidable. So unless Gore gets in the race, my pick has to go to Hillary for now.

What a surprise! Hillary's in! This power hungry woman has been running for President ever since she left college. She couldn't figure out where Bill was or what he was up to in the White House. Does anybody really think she can find Osama bin Laden or protect us from Al Qaeda? Guess we'll get to listen to her spin for another year and a half.

What you're calling power hungry, some might call ambitious. If she were a man this would not even be an issue. As for Osama, I say she can't do much worse than Bush has in trying to find him.
